This book is a more of a gentle introduction to Continuous Integration Thinking and Tooling. It is more of a Project-based book, which will obviously not apply to every case, though it does give good coverage of Build and Release Procedures. One critique is that there are quite a few Screen Shots, which in all fairness can be difficult to avoid in a book on Jenkins, which has a myriad of Customization options and Plugins.

In summary, a good intro to Jenkins and integrations.

I've had the pleasure to be the technical reviewer for this book and it will be a great resource for anyone who is in the build/release or devops space that is implementing continuous integration/continuous deployment and delivery at their organization.
The book is very good at outlining how to setup your environment for Jenkins in conjunction with other continuous integration tools such as git, maven and artifactory. It dives into the inner workings of Jenkins and how to setup builds, triggers and automated test suites. It also talks about the best practices for Jenkins and has a good discussion on the distinction between continuous delivery and continuous deployment.
